Jaeger- LeCoultre, Switzerland, an early, stainless steel "Reverso" wristwatch with sweep seconds, 15 jewels, manual winding, cotes de Geneve decorated gilt plate movement with lever escapement, in a stainless steel reversible case, luminous, baton marker silvered dial, blued steel luminous necktie hands, serial #206843 (movement), 71777 (case), 22mm x 37mm, c1935.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor marks and scratches; Minor splits near lugs. DIAL: Minor discoloration and spotting. HANDS: Good, hour with loss to luminous compound. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor marks and scratches on plate; Screw heads with minor marring. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Ticks briefly, needs service. A very nice, unrestored example.
